Increased Mastery and Professional Application of Coaching Theory (IMPACT)
Five ways to receive your IMPACT certification:
1. Attend a region IMPACT webinar or on-demand class:

2013 Great Plains IMPACT schedule no more classes available 2/20/13
2. Attend a USAV IMPACT On-Demand class:
$25 - $50 payable to USA Volleyball

3. Attend a USAV IMPACT webinar:
$50 - $65 payable to USA Volleyball

4. If you hold a Physical Education (or equivalent) degree, you may present documentation to the National Office for review & if approved, may order the current year IMPACT Manual and test from the National Office; once the test is passed, the National office will issue an IMPACT Certificate.

5. If you have attended and passed the NFHS online course titled Fundamentals of Coaching Volleyball, you may present documentation to the National Office for review & when approved, may order the current year IMPACT Manual and test from the National Office; once the test is passed, the National office will issue an IMPACT Certificate. USAV National office also accepts the ASEP Principles of Coaching online course, as well as other similar courses (upon review of curriculum) for this route towards IMPACT Certification.

- All coaches are required to be IMPACT certified before they can coach in the Great Plains Region. IMPACT certification for the Great Plains Region is good for a lifetime.
- IMPACT Webinars - There will be IMPACT webinars from Nov - Feb.
- IMPACT webinars offered through the Great Plains region are free to Great Plains paid members.
- To register for an on-line IMPACT webinar, click on the IMPACT Schedule above.
- You must be a paid member of the Great Plains Region to be approved for an on-line IMPACT webinar.
- You must also register for a webinar no later than 2 days in advance of the session, so we can mail you an IMPACT manual for use in the clinic. You must have a current IMPACT manual for the clinic.
- IMPACT On-Demand
- The IMPACT on-demand program is an approximate six-hour session available any day or time, designed to stop and restart whenever necessary. The course costs $25 for registered Great Plains members, $50 for USA Volleyball members and $75 for non-members. The on-demand course system requirements include Flash Player installed on your computer to run the course, which is not compatible with smart phones, tablets or other mobile devices. An electronic pdf copy of the current year’s IMPACT Manual is included with the on-demand course materials and is accessible from within the course for viewing, downloading and printing.
Hosting a private clinic for your club or organization:
- IMPACT: If you want to pay someone to teach an IMPACT clinic for your club or organization contact Bill Hamilton at info@gpvb.org
- You will need to pay the instructor plus travel.
- You will need a classroom like setting for optimal instruction.
- You will need to purchase the IMPACT book at $10 each for each person attending the class.
- After the class, will need a signed IMPACT attendance sheet to credit each student for the class.
